Welcome to my blog where I share my current work and a bit of my personal life. I am a photographer living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I work on location using natural light specializing in children portraiture along with family relationships. My style is modern, spontaneous, unique, casual and most of all FUN! I consider myself approachable, easy going and strive to not only build a client based relationship, but a friendship as well. I do what I love and love what I do. Contact me to schedule your session. I can't wait to meet you.

It was one of those days were you just wander. I'm not the type of person that schedules "everything", so yes....I do find I wander a bit.
The kids were off from school. I was restless. I wanted to drive into the cities and entertain them, but at the same time I didn't want to.
I'm sure you know the feeling....
The day almost passed us by when a friend called and suggested we take a drive.
Our drive took us to Weavers Country Grocery store in Fall Creek. We had never been there and found this hidden treasure quite quaint. The kids went ga-ga over the candy aisle and I loved all the different soup mixes they offered.
Plus...they actually stock just the marshmallows from the Lucky Charms cereal!
Genius.
Pure genius!
Now, I can serve my kiddo's just a bowl of colored marshmallows and not complain about what they didn't eat nor spend the extra $$ on the cereal. WOW!!

Not being from Wisconsin, the word "cheese curds" doesn't roll off my tongue nor are they a staple in my household. I do find it funny how local people "talk" about cheese curds. What's the whole deal with stating they "squeak better."
Ehhhh? That is gives me chills.
Just the thought of something squeking between my teeth. Ya know...it's like when someone would run their nails down a chalk board or when my babies would chew on the plastic nipple from their bottles and I could hear it squeak between their teeth.
Chills, I tell ya!
My girlfriend swears up and down...I mean literality....up and down that THESE CHEESE CURDS offered in the Weavers store located in Fall Creek are the best from miles around!
ya...ya.....Of course I bought some under the peer pressure!
Have a great day!
All for now.

SURPRISE!!
Last Friday, while shopping at a particular store where they carry everything under the sun, the boys convinced me to stop by the toy aisle so they can browse and wish. I did a little browsing myself and looky-looky what I came across!

This little baby ALONE, shaved 30 minutes of shuffle time off my new obsessive card game. When you're playing with four decks of cards we needed the help so I splurged a bit.
Have a great day!

tap...tap....tap...is this thing still on?
Happy New Year! Yesss...it's almost Valentine's Day, but I've had a wonderful break and I'm ready to get back to work.
Eau Claire has been cold and that's totally expected. We've got plenty of snow still on the ground and I'm OK with that. I'm expecting another month of dealing with the snow, cold, ice, and shoveling, but like I said, I'm OK this Winter season.
January was spent with the family indoors. Usually, that's our month to bring out every board game we own and play them all! I always rock at Clue! My husband loathes that game, and Mallory, she just cries that she can't beat me. (insert evil laugh here.) I have to say, some friends of ours got me hooked on Sequence and a card game called "Hand and Foot." It's all I ever play now. So...I'm gonna blame my lack of blog entries on those two games I absolutely love playing at the moment into the wee hours of the morning.
I hope your year has been off to a great start!
Since I can't post without a photo, here's my little guy Hayden.

All for now.
